I love my new table!

I just had to share this with all of you! I have been looking for a round table for my kitchen for several years and just couldn't seem to find one I liked or could afford. Well, earlier this year my husband got a whole bunch of really great hardwood wood from his Dad, some as old as us! Big wide boards you just can't find anymore. Anyway, my husband's hobby is woodworking and with this great piece of maple, he made me a table! I love the simple design and this table is sturdy and will last forever! He used clear stain and poly on it to protect the wood but not change the color. Isn't it gorgeous?

Since I am being featured in Ring 1 this week, I thought I'd blog a bit about the artist who is featured in ring 2.

Carmen Trueheart of Baublezptoa  and Bananamiranda creates some of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry using precious metal clay and beads of all sorts. A woman after my own heart, she cares deeply about animal welfare, and so contributes 20% of all proceeds to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah.
